Long version-Both the Bible and Ellen White predict that the earth will be struck with severe natural disasters during the final crisis, just before Jesus comes. This crisis will open the way for the finishing of the gospel proclamation around the world. It will also open the way for the evil forces of spiritualism to be unleashed. And according to prophecy the law of God, especially the fourth commandment, will be the focal point of the controversy. Could all this really happen?
Short version-Prophecy tells us that natural disasters will bring on the final crisis just before Jesus comes, including a conflict over the law of God, especially the fourth commandment. Could all this really happen?
Preparing for the seminar
This seminar includes several Power Point presentations, so I will need a projector, a screen, an extension cord with at least two outlets, and a table on which to set both the projector and my computer. I can bring a small Power Point projector if necessary. If the seminar is to be presented before a large group, and/or if it is to be recorded, I will need a lapel microphone, preferably cordless. If necessary, I can bring a cordless lapel microphone (including both the transmitter and receiver) that can plug into any standard sound system. I would also like to have a lectern and a white marking board with three or four colors of pens and an eraser.
Books for the ABC
The ABC in your conference will probably want to sell my books during the camp meeting. My book that's especially relevant to this seminar is The Coming Great Calamity. Please suggest to the ABC manager that he or she order a supply of this book and others to have on hand during the camp meeting. You can also direct your ABC manager to the Books link on this web site for other books of mine that are in print and which he or she will probably want to stock up on for the camp meeting.
